HIGH STREET FOUNDATIONS!

Hey lovelies hope you are all doing well,

I do only have 2 foundations from the high street because I do tend to buy expensive higher end foundations but I’m  happy with these 2 and may possibly have been swayed to try more. I don’t wear foundation everyday because I like to give my skin a break and because I am horrendous at being on time and I’m always having to rush out the door with no time to spare for make up oops 😉 ha.

Here we have L’OREAL PARIS LUMI MAGIQUE in ROSE PORCELAIN which is the first swatch second we have RIMMEL LONDON WAKE ME UP FOUNDATION in 103 TRUE IVORY. These 2 colours are basically the same especially in the picture but when you are looking at them the RIMMEL one is darker but both are the correct shade for my skin tone and both contain SPF. Both foundations can be built up for a full coverage and give a dewy/luminous finish which I never used to like but it has grown on me recently especially over the summer months. I have been setting both foundations with a translucent powder mainly on my T zone as I’ve noticed through out the day it tends to go a bit oily.   And I love the smell of both.
I like the packaging on both and they are easy enough to store I would prefer it if they were a bit smaller but only for storage reasons. They both come with a pump, it doesn’t bother me if foundations have pumps or not!

I apply these with a Sigma f80 flat top kabuki brush oh my goodness this brush is ammmmaaaazzzziinnggggg.  I will do a post on this brush next.

Hope you enjoy reading this post.  Let me know in the comments which high street foundation you like or would recommend.

  1. Hey Nicob are both foundations SPF? can’t quite tell off the pic 🙂 you think SPF is a must? xx 🙂 Keep blogging

    • Hi Rachel
Yes they are both SPF. I think you should definitely wear SPF every day either in your moisturiser or foundation. Sometimes SPF in the foundation can cause your face to look really white when you have your picture taken with the flash on but its not done it to me well not that I’ve noticed 🙂 but yes always wear SPF to protect your skin xx
